A Pictorial History Of The British Aviation Industry From 1900 to 1970 As Seen From A Company Marketing Perspective.

Q: On some of the ads it's difficult to read the text clearly.
A: Yes it is. The ads are presented for reference purposes at approx 500x600 pixels. This makes for quick browsing. The text of the ads will be appended to all pages in due course. Rest assured though that a Hi Res untouched version is available free of charge and on request for researchers or enthusiasts.

Q: I`d like the original page to frame, are they for sale?
A: No. The original magazines or brochures are too valuable a source of reference.

Q: There seem to quite a few types, products or companies missing from your listings, are there more to come?
A: Where possible yes! There are many, many more to add, but it's quite labour intensive. New content is being uploaded on most days so keep looking in! If you are looking for something in particular please contact me.

Q: I have tried to contact you before but you didn`t reply!!
A: Sorry - My fault entirely. When I set up the mailbox on the server for some reason I forgot to add it to my PC's POP3 mail reader. This has been fixed and to the best of my knowledge all correspondents should now have received replies. Normally you can expect a same day response.

Q: Some of the ads seem to feature in unsuitable categories.
A: Yes I tend to agree with you. In some cases this may be a simple mistake and user feedback is very welcome to correct this. In other cases an ad may in fact be equally suitable for a number of categories. Where this is the case you may find duplicates elsewhere.

Q: Are you planning a database search facility?
A: Yes but not until such time as I regard the listings as substantially comprehensive.

Q: I like browsing the ads, but often I'd like some more background information to contextualise them.
A: Agreed. First priority is compile as comprehensive a listing as possible. I`m going as fast as I can!! - A great deal  of accompanying material is in the pipeline and will be published in due course.

Q: I have a connection or interest with an aircraft, product or company you have listed, are you interested in me sending you pictures or information.
A: Absolutely - Yes please. All contributions and contributors are very welcome.
