Aviation Ancestry Forum & Information Exchange The number of requests for Hi Res copies of ads has taken me a bit by surprise, a pleasant surprise though. I`m frequently asked for more background information about people, products and places featured in the ads on display. Often I can point users to one or more of the many excellent specialist aviation Websites, Forums or contacts to assist in their research. Occasionally these sources can`t help and users have requested I set aside an area on the site to log requests for information. To this end I`ve established a new moderated Forum. Are You Writing A Book or Creating A DVD Archive?
There's still a lot of work to do on the main pages and the work is ongoing, notwithstanding this we'll soon be adding a section to promote and review your aviation related books or Video/DVD archives. By your books we mean those of you who are taking advantage of the recent advances in "self publishing" technology to get into print without the expense and risk of working with publishing houses. If you've always wanted to write a book about your aviation research or experiences now's the time to start... we'll be posting a guide to self publishing and print on demand during the coming days.
