Handley Page joined the Royal Air Force at the start - and its progenitors before that. Handley Page has been on active service ever since with a steady stream of famouis aircraft.. from the world's first successful heavy bombers, the big HP 0/400's and V1500's of 1914/18.. to the Hampdens and Halifaxes that gave Britian more than 40% of its offensive air power in the last war...and on to the massive Victor V-bombers of today.

Handley Page has a double reason for celebration - the RAF's half century of splendid achievement and its own fifity years of unbroken service with the RAF.
