The Imperial Tobacco Company's BEAGLES

Iconic Aviation Ad Beagle B 206 1967

The Imperial Tobacco Company's BEAGLES have a very busy week.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8.15 in the morning one of Imperial Tobacco's Beagles takes off from Bristol and, with one or more stops at Nottingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Harrogate or Newcastle, it arrives in Glasgow at 11 a.m. At 4.30 in the afternoon it is on its way back to Bristol.

Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays there are no scheduled services and the Beagles often go further afield to Belfast, or Frankfurt, Brussels or Ostend, Amsterdam or Hamburg, or even to Prague.

Imperial Tobacco make their Beagles work very hard; they are in the air for over twenty hours every weekand and most of the time,on the regular routes, all the seats are full.

To operate this exacting schedule the Imperial Tobacco Company chose Beagle because .... The Beagle B.206 and the supercharged B.206S are the best-buys in 6-8 seat executive aircraft.

1. Have the longest range: 1,400 nautical miles
2. Have the strongest construction for the longest operational life.
3. Have Continental engines supplied by Rolls-Royce.
4. Have outstanding stability and the most pleasant flying characteristics.
5. Have the quietest passenger compartment, the largest window with the best view.
6. Have the most comfortable seats.

Have fast and efficient spares and maintenance service, because Beagle is British, built in Britain.
