Organised by the Royal Aero Club WON BY THE ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH SISKIN AEROPLANE with THE ARMSTRONG SIDDELEY"JAGUAR" Air-Cooled Radial ENGINE. - PILOT: MR.F.T.COURTNEY.

SPEED: LONDON TO BIRMINGHAM 168 mph Distance 91 miles
TOTAL DISTANCE (809 Miles) 147 m.p.h.

The Gloucestershire " Grebe" Aeroplane entered by The Right Hon. Sir William Joynson-Hicks, Bart,M.P. (Pilot: Mr. L. L. Carter), also equipped with THE ARMSTRONG SIDDELEY "JAGUAR" accomplished an almost identical performance to the winner from London to Manchester (576 miles) but was unfortunately prevented from finishing by a small accident to his undercarriage on landing at Manchester.

The whole of the eight subsidiary prizes for the fastest performances were won By Armstrong Siddeley Engines.
